Learning Journey

The JoyKids Learning Journey

The JoyKids learning journey is characterised by the deliberate integration of academic enquiry and character development. From our youngest learners to our high school pupils, our pathway is built on five pillars of excellence that shape our teaching methods. We go beyond traditional boundaries by incorporating global perspectives and diverse extracurricular opportunities into the daily student experience. The outcome is a holistic education that equips students to navigate, contribute to, and excel in an ever-changing world.

A Path of Purpose

JoyKids International Preschool proudly embraces the International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy for our Early Years programme (ages 3 – 6) under the Primary Years Programme (PYP), offering a globally respected continuum of programmes that nurture curious, confident, and compassionate learners. As an IB Candidate School*, we are committed to developing critical thinkers, principled global citizens, and future-ready leaders through an education grounded in inquiry, global awareness, and lifelong learning.

This philosophy is deeply integrated into our partnership with GrowBright International School, where our students will have the opportunity to continue their IB Learner’s journey throughout their entire education, fostering a comprehensive and consistent approach to learning and personal development.

*Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes; the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme, or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorization will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org

Our Teaching Philosophy

We believe that every child is inherently capable, naturally curious, and wonderfully unique. Our approach to teaching is grounded in the conviction that learning should be purposeful, engaging, and deeply personal.

Our teaching is designed to:

  • Inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning
  • Celebrate student voice, choice, and creativity
  • Guide with compassion, structure, and purpose
  • Connect knowledge to real-world challenges and opportunities
