The Preschool years are an important bridge between early childhood and Primary School.
At JoyKids International Preschool, our Preschool Programme builds on children’s natural curiosity while developing the knowledge, skills, confidence and independence they need for the next stage of their education.
As part of the JoyKids Early Years Programme, children experience a thoughtful balance of Integrated Thematic Learning, Montessori-inspired experiences, purposeful play, inquiry and increasingly structured academic learning.
Literacy and numeracy foundations become stronger. Questions become deeper. Children take greater responsibility for their learning and become increasingly confident in expressing ideas, solving problems and working with others.
Our goal is not simply to make children ready for Primary School.
We want them to become joyful, curious, confident and capable learners who know how to learn.
As children progress through Preschool, learning becomes increasingly purposeful and sophisticated.
Children move beyond simply asking:
“What is this?”
and begin exploring:
“Why does this happen?” · “How does it work?” · “What do I think?” · “How can I find out?” · “Is there another way?”
Our educators encourage children to investigate ideas, make connections, communicate their thinking and reflect on what they discover.
This progression helps children develop the confidence to become active participants in their own learning.
